Exploration Drilling Grant Initiative (EDGI) – Second Release of Round 5 Data
Mineral Resources Tasmania has released to Open File, final reports from three more round 5 EDGI co-funded drilling projects, completed in July 2022. These projects were extended due to COVID–related delays. The first five Round 5 reports were made Open File in October 2022.

Tasmanian Geochronology Compilation Published
This Tasmanian geochronology compilation comprises a total of 878 ages, chronicling the evolution of onshore Tasmania from Mesoproterozoic deposition of sedimentary successions in western King Island, through to Neogene basaltic volcanism in Bass Strait and its margins.

Cambrian U-Pb age for the Mewstone Granite
A report on the age of the Mewstone Granite has been published by MRT. The main purpose of the report is to document a U-Pb age obtained from zircon from the Mewstone. Petrographic and geochemical data are also presented and compared with those from other southwest Tasmanian granites.
