Web Map Service
Mineral Resources Tasmania has two OGC web map services, one for connecting to geophysical imagery and geotechnical map images, and one for connecting to vector data. Web Map Services (WMS) use specified standards and allow web map information to be requested using URLs and returned as images that can be displayed in web browsers or desktop applications. The capabilities links below provide information on how to access individual data layers and can be copied and pasted into a desktop application.
