Updated Fossicking Web Map

MRT has launched an updated version of its Fossicking Web Map. The new home screen displays a map of the state indicating the locations of the eleven declared fossicking areas. Each area has its own information panel containing customised fossicking details. The on-screen location of the buttons and information panel will be device-dependent.

A useful feature for fossickers is the “find my location” widget. Users on a phone may need to tap the “fullscreen” icon before they can access the "find my location" widget. The locator allows fossickers to ensure they are within the designated fossicking area while collecting specimens.
