Study on the De Witt-Propsting and South West Cape sheath-fold systems

Authors Dr David Gray and Dr Michael Vicary have released the latest paper in their Tyennan Structural Geology Series of publications, aiming to investigate the structures that develop in these rocks during the subduction-obduction process.

This paper defines and investigates the mega-sheath fold elements controlling the overall stacking and distribution of the low-grade quartzite, platy quartzite, and phyllite, and high-grade schist litho-tectonic units.
